Theatre play "The rainbow fish"

We present this activity as an inter-stage collaboration and external activity in which 5th grade pupils prepared a play about the animals that live at the bottom of the sea for the children of the infant stage.

Water Song

The entire infant stage learned a song dedicated to the Water project and that served as a final touch to end a very good and intense year in which they have learned many things about the subject.

Water Day

The children of the whole Infant stage enjoyed the last day of school dedicated to Water day. The teachers prepared various games in the school playground with water as the protagonist. These were the games that the pupils had to play: 1. Fishing for boats in the shape of a plug using clothes pegs to hang clothes, 2. they played relay games with the aim of filling whole jugs with water without wasting a drop of water, 3. Hot potato using a water bottle with holes in it. The pupils got wet while passing the bottle and, when the teacher said STOP, the person who had the bottle had to do a test, 4. Using a parachute, the children had to keep the balls flying inside while the teacher sprayed them with water. 5. A traditional game using a rope with the project mascot, the water drop, hanging in the middle. Two teams had to pull on the end of the rope to get the mascot to their field. 6. Water poetry in Spanish

Imagen
For the first online meeting where we met the partners from the different participating countries, the 5th graders of the MB Cossío school learned a poem about water in their language. The children recited it for the rest of their classmates - it was great fun!

Bottle of calm

The 3 year old pupils of the Cossío school created a bottle of calm in which water was the main element. This bottle, as well as being a creative way of creating art with water, also serves as a resource to modulate the children's feelings.

Does the dye stain?

Imagen
The 3-year-olds have experienced the power of the dye. For this, 3 different colors have been used: green, blue and yellow. The children poured water into 3 different glasses and then poured dye of the different colors, one in each glass. Once the water was dyed, a ball of white cardboard was placed inside each glass. Students took it our 5 minutes after putting it in. They could observe that, although it was very slight, the paper had begun to change color. It was decided, therefore, to leave the balls inside the glass overnight. The next day, the children could see how, after some time, the paper had changed color.

Planting bean seeds

The children from kindergarten are learning how necessary water is for life. To do this, we have carried out a project in which each student is in charge of their own plant. We plant bean seeds and little by little, with the water we water and the sun, we see how they grow and how they become a plant as they know it. MANUÉL BARTOLOMÉ COSSÍO de Isabel Alvarez Testillano
